Very Good. (7). This is a different example to a couple of previous examples sold as this is larger, with two characters under the base. Age wise, we are guessing with 1860s, it could be anywhere from there through to 1900s. It does look early though. Lid is extremely crude, there are a couple of little flakes to the very bottom of the insert part. Teapot has crazing throughout from making. Rear outer lip has a 12 x 15 mm repaired flake, this is only on the outside, it is not a chunk out of the pottery by any means as the inner lip is all fine. Touched up very minor flake to end of spout. Nice example overall. Estimate: $100-150
