Very Good (7.4). Some inner dirt and light haze in a patch or two, the dirt should soak out. Couple of tiny annealing marks to inner lip. Little nibbled impact to left chamber. Another to left upper body. A few other little fisheyes and impact marks. Some spots of surface rust and grime which should soak off. Scuffs and scratches, heaviest to the rear and around the shoulder. A few minor nibbled spots and some spots of wear to some of the embossing. Quite a fabulous codd bottle, one sold in Australia some years ago and it sold for a lot of money due to the Australian details. We have since sold one, but it was different to this example. The Adelaide International Exhibition embossed on the bottle was in 1887. Stephano Albert based his Australian Mineral Water Works in Fordsburg, Johannesburg in 1898, it traded for 52 years until 1950 when it was taken over by Coca Cola. EST: $100 - 200
