Excellent (8.6). Crazing and minor marks around. Similar in shape and pattern to the Vine Jugs advertised in the Bendigo Pottery price list of 1883. But much cruder with very ill defined detail. Looks like a potter has taken a rough mould of an original and tried to reproduce the pattern. Really interesting piece of early pottery and likely to be from an early Victorian pottery. EST: $100 - 150
Barrel shaped water jug. Fuchsia Pattern from the handle at the back. No potters stamp. (likely Victoria) Large Rockingham Glaze Water Jug. 183 mm. Late 1800s
