Near Mint (9.6). The face has had some sort of paint or lacquer put on it which is peeling. I've been rubbing some of it off to check for repairs but haven't found any so I think this was just done for display purposes. Some dust and grime. Unused otherwise. Despite the number on the base there were in fact 802 of these made with moulds destroyed in October 1977. In fact this jug has a copy of the letter inside signed by William Derham, Managing Director of the Bendigo Pottery detailing the numbers made and that he had smashed the moulds. Estimate: $30-50
