Near Mint (9.1). Deep dip to front lip is definitely from making. Some other folds and crude marks around the lip, these are all from making. Some grime to outer left lip, possibly remains of the capsule. Some fine inner base dirt should clean out. 20 x 3 mm surface scuff to upper left body. Tiny nibbled spot to upper left shoulder. Just a few minor scratches. The all important label is almost certainly original! It is missing parts at the top, couple of holes in the middle and a piece out the bottom, but you can still make out the gin writing. The Melchers part is hard to read, but does say Melchers, Schiedam. The finder of this must have coated the label in something to protect it long ago. Label is discoloured as well. What a fabulous example all round. Estimate: $500-750
