Excellent. (8.1). Couple of small marks to upper lip look to be scrapes from the making process. To the left upper lip is a 20 mm section which looks to be a minor repair, we initially thought it was a making mark but noticed this during inspection just now, this can be seen in the last photograph looking down the top, it is the small darker patch on the right side in the picture. Small blowout to rear shoulder from making. Shallow blowout to mid rear body is quite small as well. Small blowout to right mid body. Tiny glaze flake to front shoulder. Base edge has some small flakes around the heel part, likely mostly potter pull type marks from making. Some minor scratches. Pretty much just making marks on this lovely and rare jar. This would have been made at one of the South Australian potteries. Nice distinct impression. We have never sold one of these before.. Estimate: $500-750
