Excellent. (8.5). China lining has crazing from making. A few scratches and minor marks to the glass. This has five butterflies as the decoration around the outside under the glass. Patent No. 1218229 for D. G. Ware was first patented in 1916 by A. H. Guest. He registered an improved patent for the process in 1920 (Patent No. 153799). The design is for a hollow glass body, decorated on its interior with the design covered by a glass inner lining. The two pieces were joined at the top with a metal strengthener in such a manner that the brilliancy of the decorative design would be maintained for an indefinite period.. Estimate: $30-50
