Peanut Shape Salad Oil. Base mark: (Dot).. Goldfields. Salad Oil. Applied top. Three rings to mid neck, three further rings to lower neck. Body is peanut shaped. Aqua. 6 oz. 215 mm. 1850s
Very Good. (7.3). Stained throughout with a little surface etching. Tiny nibbled spot to upper lip. Couple of marks under the base look like remains of a wide pontil. This comes complete with a skink inside! Quite a nice example, pretty much just stained. . Estimate: $100-150
