Excellent. (8.2). Oliver J. Nilsen had an electrical manufacturing works in Collingwood. They made fuses, switchgear and also had a large porcelain works. Ceramic bodied bare-element electric jugs were in use in Australia, and New Zealand from the early 1920s and were still available until well into the 1970s. They were not used anywhere else in the world. This jug does have the lead inside, the wires at the end are exposed and have electrical tape over them. This is NOT tested and tagged, and not for use, being sold purely as a collectable item. Little flake or two to the lid. One or two glaze pops to the body from making. A few minor marks. Nice jug overall.. Estimate: $40-60
