No Embossing. Pontil to base. Ink Glass 7 oz. Aqua. Extremely early pontilled bottle with flare lip, three rings around shoulder and three rings around base. Possibly American origin. 114 mm. 1830s
Mint. Amazing piece of glass. This bottle is thin, it is quite light in weight. Yet, we cannot find any fault with it at all. The lip is perfect, which is unusual with the fine flare style of lip that it has. Heaps of airbubbles in this one too, we can only spot one which is at the surface, and this was on our third inspection, so very small and very shallow. The only blemish is a few very light scratches under the base, from when the bottle was in use. We reiterate, this is a magnificent piece of glass, in pristine condition. Grade: 9.4 Estimate: $200 - 250
