No embossing. Hexagonal Cathedral Pickle, each arch with seven curved designs embossed around the top. No base mark Goldfields Pickle Applied top. Aqua. 1 Gallon. 328 mm. 1880s
Excellent. Has a manufacturing fold to the internal lip that has split slightly. Has plenty of dust internally and some surface grime around the shoulders. There is an unusual mark around one edge between panels like the bottle has been wiped by something during manufacture before cooling. There is some wear and scratches under the base from usage. Any scuff marks on the surface seem to come off when wiped. A great example of a HUGE bottle which will come up a treat after a good clean. Grade: 8.7 Estimate: $250 - 300
