Not Sold

London Club Sauce. / Parker Bros. Crude open pontil to base. (From Ketchup, Pickles & Sauce by Betty Zumwalt. Parker Bros were merchants in New York City between approximately 1848 and the 1860s.) Household Sauce Hot sauce shape, sloping collared applied lip. Pale aqua with a blue tinge. 5oz. 185 mm. 1850s

Excellent. Appears to have been lightly tumble cleaned when inspected closely (some rounding on the edges of some scuffs and scratches). However all the whittling and mould effects remain on the surface of the glass. There is an extremely shallow 7 x 3 mm open bubble from manufacturing between the O and S of Bros, leaving the O appearing like a C. Lovely, early sauce bottle. Grade: 8.6 Estimate: $60 - 80
