Lewis & Whitty / Melbourne. No base mark. Medicine Hair Lotions Applied top. Oval section bottle with sharp angled shoulder to large bulbous ring in neck then a long section of neck to a crude applied top. Darkish aqua. Holds about 3 oz., very thin bottle. 176 mm. 1880s
Very Good. There is a bit of internal stain that just holds it back but this might well clean out. Externally there are a few scuffs and scratches, a couple of small areas of this on the front lower section. Tiny flake under the underside of the lip. Nice unusual bottle generally considered to be a hair oil but could have contained other products. Grade: 7.4 Estimate: $40 - 60
