Lot 40: Mackey Kalgoorlie Globe Ring Seal Bottle

Very good. Polished. Has a light haze internally & some hazing around the external lettering. The lower part of the applied ring has some shallow flaking over 6 mm to the right-hand-side. The front lip has a 6 mm fracture which is extremely hard to see. Some nibbling under the front lip as well. One shallow surface bubble towards the rear base. There is a deep scratch 13 x 2 mm at the rear base. Two further scratches under the base next to each other, 4 mm long each. The front-left base has a ground out chip causing this area to be slightly misshapen. A few light scuffs and scratches. The glass contains heaps of tiny air bubbles and the embossing stands out although has been worn in a couple of small spots from the polishing. Great eye appeal and a sound example of a rare bottle.
