Tinct. / Cannab. Ind. / "Poison". Ground and polished base as it was made. (TIncture of Cannabis Indica). Fine 61. etched just below the lip on the back. Medicine Poison Round section with ribs around body of bottle. Hand cut, ground and polished label space. Enamelled lettering. Ground neck with correct matching stopper. Cobalt Blue. Approx. 8 oz. 139 mm without stopper.. 1900s
Bottle itself is Mint with only really some light wear to the base where the bottle rests. Print is in lovely condition. You can feel a little pinprick type mark on the outer lip, there is a similar tiny mark on the upper lip, and a small impurity within the glass in the lip as well. Stopper has a large, shallow chip to side over an area that is 12 x 12 mm. Still can be displayed perfectly with stopper on an angle. Wonderful early chemist shop item. Rating given for bottle only.
