Newtown. No makers marks. Aerated Water Torpedo Applied blob top. Aqua. 10 oz. 228 mm. 1870s-1880s
Very Good. Polished. A few small nibble type marks around the lip. Some fisheye type marks still visible, mostly to the base area. Some scratches internally towards the base. Seam lines are faint but still visible. Annealing and cooling stress marks where the top has been applied. Incredibly strong embossing. Great looking torpedo. Two of these have been found in the Riverina but their origin is uncertain. They have the look of an Australian bottle. Rare item. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $150 - 200
