Very Good. Only marked down from Excellent because of a small 5 x 5 x 1 mm chip to the front lip. Next to this is a really crude manufacturing mark, glazed over, like an indent in the lip. In fact for a Govancroft made bottle this example is surprisingly crude. There are a couple of other very minor glaze flakes to the lip. Some rust on the base and extremely small spots on the body. Also fine scratches and the like on the surface of the glaze. Nice example, a little lip repair and it will be a beauty. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $500 - 600
