J. D. Butt / Trade Mark / (Rifleman firing at target) / Registered / Cloncurry. Dot to centre of base. Aerated Water Lamont Spun on top. Part amethyst. 10 oz. 223 mm. 1900s-1910s
Excellent. Part of the internal surface has some hazy stain. Couple of small impact marks to the side lip. Under the base is a very shallow 4 x 3 mm chip. There are some small flakes and impact marks to parts of the surface of the embossing. Typical scuffs, scratches and little marks on the surface of the glass generally. A few fisheyes to be found. Lovely pictorial Lamont and very interesting colour. Looking through the thickest part of the base you would swear this was a pale aqua but the upper part of the bottle is sun-coloured amethyst with the top being quite dark. Lovely, scarce pictorial Lamont. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $200 - 300
