W. H. Rawle. / Chemist / Adjoining Town Hall / Hawthorn. Pot lid Feeder Cap White baby feeder cap with black print. 40 mm diameter. 1890s
Very Good. The upper edge rim has some very minor glaze flaking, with another glaze flake just above the R of Rawle. A couple more miniscule glaze flakes around the tube hole. The edge ribs are pretty good in general, on the bottom around the edge there is some nibbling to the very end of the ribs, this is minor. In the same area half way down the side is a split type hairline over about 15 mm, this is from making. The inner rim underneath has a chip over 18 x 5 mm, due to the porous nature of this type of lid, this is common place. Another great baby feeder cap to continue on from previous auctions, this is one we have not seen before and has the added bonus of a specific location of adjoining the town hall! Grade: 7.55 Estimate: $150 - 200
