Bordeaux / (Crown over shield with 3 Fleur de Lys'). Shallow punt with dot to centre of base. Spirits Cognac Tall cylinder. Applied long collar top. Dark golden honey. 26 oz. 289 mm. 1870s
Very Good. Large, shallow chip under the front base, irregular in shape but over 40 x 12 mm. Also a shallow 12 x 12 mm chip up from the back base of the bottle. A 4 x 2 mm chip to the top of the back lip. Front lip has some roughness but at least in part this is from the crude manufacture. Inside has minor stain. Outside has scuffs and scratches. Inner neck has some light scratching right around, most likely from the action of a bottlebrush. Great looking seal bottle that we haven't seen before. Grade: 7.1 Estimate: $150 - 200
