Very Good. Note this bottle is distinctly larger than the similar maugham sold in Auction 5 (that bottle being 217 mm tall vs this one at 229 mm). Slightly dull over most of the surface with some fine scratches and some scuffs to the rear. Some small surface fisheyes to be seen, mainly on or near the base. Upper lip has a very fine flake which can only just be felt. Typical annealing stress marks on inner neck. Lovely "Ross glassworks" type green tinge. Superbly detailed and strongly embossed trade mark. An altogether stunning bottle. Comes with an unusual holder! EX: John Lynch & Paul Bruce collections. Grade: 7.85 Estimate: $2000 - 2500
