1. Very Good. This one should come up better as the light haze and dirt inside probably just needs more of a clean. 9 mm long deep scratch on the front shoulder. A few light marks elsewhere, capsule remains and dullness around the neck. Beautiful, strong embossing with little wear. (7.8). 2. Good. Dull and worn all over, quite attractive in itself as an example of an "old looking" bottle. There is a 9 mm long split in the side neck/lip that looks like a stress mark from manufacture. Scuffed, scratched and worn all over. Good decorative item. (6.0). 3. Very Good. Stained inside, some of this looks like contents stain and some is just dirt. A heavily scuffed patch on the side shoulder and scattered scratches and marks elsewhere. A bit of dullness in spots as well. (7.0). 4. Very Good. But this jar does have two fractures in the lower back (21 mm and 10 mm long). A scuff between the word Pickles and Melbourne on the front and some scratches on the front shoulder. A bit of light milky haze internally. A few other light marks on the outside. Still a nice looking jar in this colour and earlier than usual for this brand. (7.0). 5. Excellent. Quite a crudely made jar, one of the earlier machine made types with lots of bubbles, folds and swirls in the glass. There is a 7 x 3 mm bruise to the top of the front lip. Shallow flake to lip at top of seam line. Inside has some fine dirt and haze and could use a better clean. Fairly minor scuffs and scratches to the outside. Wear around the base where the jar sits. Nice example. (8.0). Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
