Excellent. This original mirror is from the early 1900s. It has the original frame with two mounting hooks at the top. The frame is in great condition. The mirror is generally in extremely good condition, there are a few spots here and there that have discoloured on the mirrored backing, some minor discolouration to some of the lettering, and some flaking and peeling to the mirrored finish along the base of the mirror across about two thirds of the width from the right. A few other minor flakes to the backing can be seen here and there. Harp Brand Old Irish Whisky was made by Young King & Co Ltd Distillers, Belfast and was imported into Melbourne by the wholesale agents Hogan, Mooney and Co of 283-285 Elizabeth Street from at least 1896 through to at least 1902. Being a relatively large and fragile piece, we would prefer local pick up, otherwise we would suggest employing the services of Pack and Send as opposed to risking Australia Post with this piece.
