Federal / (Flag) / Fruit Jar. No base mark. Household Preserving Jar Swing stoppered with bail and glass lid. Aqua. Half Gallon. 258 mm including lid. 1900s
Excellent. Has the usual nibbles and flakes around the upper ground lip. A couple of these are about 5 x 3 mm, the rest are smaller. There is a band of light wear around the lower part of the lip. A few light scuffs to the jar and some dust and grime to be found. Possible very light haze in spots internally. Lid is extremely crude with odd unmelted glass marks throughout and an open bubble or two. A great jar in extremely good condition. Grade: 8.9 Estimate: $50 - 75
