Pair of unusual Spirits bottles, Green & Blue: Both - Heavily embossed with rope & tassel design around neck and leaves around base. Base: Depose & Polished pontil. French brandy or Liqueur? Late Alen Michael, Mackay Collection. Spirits Brandy Both: Chestnut shaped with applied handle. Tool finished top. 26 oz. One is Bright Green and the other Cobalt Blue. 226 mm (the Blue one is 285 mm with the stopper). 1900s
1. Near Mint. Some light wear on the top of the lip and some light scratches to the body. A little wear on the base where the bottle rests. Huge decoration and quite an unusual bottle. Polished pontil to base, bubbles through glass and wear to base edge suggest it is reasonably early. (9.0). 2. Near Mint. A few very minor scratches and marks around the surface. Wear to the base edge where the bottle rests. Superb looking bottle. The polished pontil, crudity of the glass and wear on the base suggest this is quite an early item.
