Cobalt flat barrel shaped flask. No base mark. Spirits Whisky Applied top, flat ovoid shape with 3 bands around the upper region, another three bands around the lower region. Several panels going down the bottle, except for an impressed, flat circle in the centre on one side. Cobalt. Pint. 226 mm without stopper. 1870s
Near Mint. A bit of fine dirt or very light internal haze. A couple of small surface bubbles. Comes with a stopper, the original cork insert is in place around the stopper, but the stopper is not original, it appears to be an aqua stopper hat has been stained to a blue colour. This is the same design as Lot 403 in Auction 6, except it is double the size! Grade: 9.3 Estimate: $500 - 750
