Pair of skittles, also known as Cooktown Beers. 1. Large size. Base embossed: 860 (or 098). 2. Small size. Base embossed: Dot. Beer Cork Stoppered 1. Applied top skittle. Green. 26 oz. 2. Applied top. Darker Green. 13 oz. 1. 262 mm. 2. 204 mm.. 1870s
1. Excellent. Couple of tiny fleabite marks to lip. Some inner dirt which looks like it will clean out. Short scratch to lower neck. Longer 12 mm scratch to lower body. A few other light scuffs and scratches. 2. Very Good. Looks to be earlier than the large one, maybe even 1860s? Has a large burst bubble to one side, 10 x 7 mm. Also has several scuffs and scratches on this side. Tiny flake to upper lip. Quite a nice, crude bottle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
