1. Very Good. Still has rusty neck wire in place. Has some string retaining a piece of cork, as this bottle has been used for storage of some grease type substance, of which it still retains about a quarter of a bottle. Very grimy outer surface. Some tears and staining to label. Still has original lead seal around the neck. Interesting labelled piece. 2. Near Mint. Very dirty still, as has been found under a house with labels, the owner did not want to ruin the labels, so left the bottle in as found state. Has internal residue staining which should come out, plenty of grime and dirt externally which will clean off, carefully of course. Still retains wire around neck that would have held cork in place. Label on one side is chewed away over about a third of the label. The more colourful label on opposite side is missing much of the left side and the bottom portion. There is enough of the labels to show that this stout bottle contained - Stout! Stout which was made in Liverpool expressly for the Australian consumers. 3. Near Mint. Very dirty still, as has been found under a house with labels, the owner did not want to ruin the labels, so left the bottle in as found state. Has plenty of grime and dirt externally which will clean off, carefully of course. Burke's main label is faded, has some tears and is only partially stuck to the bottle. The two rear labels are largely complete, they are stained and have some holes. A lovely original piece of glass. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
