Excellent. Small flake to inner lip, some small glaze wear type flakes to outer rim of lip. Front shoulder has a small white and dark spot, possible wear spot, but likely a spot of something on the surface. Right shoulder seems to have had PM crudely painted on, this is mostly faded now, looks like other things have been written around the shoulder as well. Crude glaze throughout. Some scratches and small chips to the glaze. The rear left side from the base up has a crack over about 150 mm. There is another closer to the left side coming up about 100 mm on an arc. Another 90 mm one to the rear. Some spots of paint on the surface. A few smallish chips under the base, probably from manufacture. We have never heard of this company before, it seems they were quite a big company for a reasonably short period of time. Postage will be excessive on such a piece, we recommend pick up on this one. Extremely rare demijohn. Grade: 8 Estimate: $50 - 75
