Medium Chinese Food Container. Goldfields Chinese Chocolate glaze, separate lid on large base with Chinese characters. 95 mm with lid. 1860s-1900s
Near Mint. 5 x 3 mm flake to upper edge of the base. A few other smaller flakes around the circumference on this edge. A couple of light scratches to the glaze. The original lid has a sharply formed edge, which has some minor nibbles. A superb piece of Chinese stoneware, this is rare in this size! Grade: 9 Estimate: $100 - 150
