Grand Hotel / Melbourne. Base Mark: M. Aerated Water Codd Applied top. Four way pour Dobson style patent with four dimples. Aqua. 13 oz. 237 mm. 1900s
Very Good. Two shallow and very small upper lip flakes. Light scuffs and scratches throughout. Rear body has a shallow irregular 10 x 7 mm chip. 7 x 5 mm section of impact marks below this to the left. To the right of this is a line up the bottle which is a making mark where glass has pulled over about 80 mm by up to 2 mm. Under front base is a nibbled flake like impact mark, 3 x 3 mm. A few other small impact marks around the base heel. Embossing is good, only a fisheye or two to be found. Quite a nice example, these are usually dump dug and do not often have this overall shiny appearance. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $100 - 150
