Excellent. Hard to get one of these any better than this example. There are some very minor flakes around the lip. The edge of one of the grooves for the patent closure has a shallow 5 x 3 mm chip. Jar had some rust marks that have been removed using Ranex Rust buster and it has been well soaked in clean water after that. A few scratches can be seen under reflecting light. Crudely made with some glaze misses. Great early item in superb condition. Grade: 8.8 Estimate: $400 - 500
