2 x Lightning Stopper bottles, both E. Merck / Darmstadt. Poison Phenyle/Disinfectant Both applied top, lightning stopper type. One is aqua, the other green. Both 26 oz. Aqua: 298 mm. Green: 295 mm without stopper.. 1890s

Aqua one is very good. Has a small inner lip flake. Small chip to front base. Internal stain. Scuffs and scratches externally. This one does not have a stopper. The green one is excellent. Has some light scuffs and scratches. From Wikipedia: "The Merck chemical company was started by Friedrich Jacob Merck in 1668! In 1816, Emanuel Merck took over the pharmacy. Thanks to his scientific education he was successful in isolating and characterizing alkaloids in the pharmacy laboratory.
