Excellent. Light crazing throughout. Very light 30 mm diagonal scratch to upper right on the face. The underside corners where the lid meets the base has some small nibbles, one corner is 3 x 2 mm, next corner is 2 x 1 mm on the side, a third corner has a 3 x 1 mm mark which is just through the glaze, the fourth corner is fine. A couple of tiny inner nicks as well. Comes with a base which has crazing throughout, some discolouration and rust spots. Under the base are a couple of flakes on opposing corners. A great pot lid from Melbourne, these are quite rare and attractive in this shape! Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $2500 - 3000
