Excellent. The front lip has a 15 mm long fracture that is incredibly fine and difficult to see. Also around the lip are some annealing type marks and we are in two minds whether the 15 mm line is one of these or a later fault, it really doesn't detract much but it is there. The lower part of the ring has a twisted, smoothed over effect in a couple of places, looks like it is from manufacture when the top was applied. Elsewhere the bottle has a few scratches and scuffs over the surface. There is a tiny little surface mark on about the middle of the owl. One other little pinprick mark on top of the lip. Beautiful embossing. One of the classic Australian pictorial beers. Grade: 8 Estimate: $3000 - 4000
