Pil. / Blaud. Base mark: W N Walton Patt Sept 23 1862. Chemist Glass label Applied lip, tooled finish. Wide neck, stoppered chemist with under glass label. Label has black writing on white background with gold black and red border. Cobalt. 8 oz. 149 mm without stopper. 1870s
Very Good. Inner top is ground from manufacture, there are a few burst bubbles in this area. Contents residue and haze internally. Outside has a slightly oily feel to it,. There is a scratch across the bottle above the glass label. Couple of minor scratches. The label is in good condition, there is some staining, a bit of discolouration and fading to the outer edge of the label. A good example of this early patent chemist bottle. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $250 - 300
