Unusual Chinese tea pot. Brown glaze with bluish white characters on one side and design of some type on the other. Goldfields Chinese Brown glaze teapot with raised bluish-white decoration. Pint approximately. 115 mm. 1890s
Excellent. Is missing the handle (which would have been bamboo or similar) and the lid. There are some rust stains and marks on the surface that should come off with careful cleaning. Some very small flakes and nibbles to the spout but otherwise in great shape. Unusual teapot and a nice piece of Australian found Chinese pottery. Grade: 8.4 Estimate: $30 - 50
