Aerated Carrara Water in spiral ribbon. Aerated Water Maugham Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 270 mm. 1850s-1860s
Good. Polished. Good looking bottle but has had a fairly heavy polish. Still some pitting and marks mainly around the embossing. Inner top is dull, possibly had some reworking done here? Some evidence of minor nicks around this inner lip. One side of the base looks a little out of shape as though a shallow chip may have been ground out and rounded. Good looking and early spiral type maugham. Grade: 6.4 Estimate: $40 - 60
