Extra large Square gin shape but with wide top. Large jagged tube pontil to base. Spirits Gin Large square shape. Wide flare lip. Olive green. Between a Quart and Half Gallon. 277 mm. 1780s-1800s
Excellent. Spectacular piece of early glass. We've listed it as a gin because it has that basic shape but with the wide mouth probably used for something else. Has some dullness inside and minor marks outside. Little surface bubble near shoulder. Plenty of inclusions in the glass and crude manufacturing marks throughout. Just a wonderful item.
