3 R. Harrison Fitzroy Lamonts, all different glass makers: Melbourne Glass Bottle Co; Cannington Shaw & Co and Bratby & Hinchcliffe. Aerated Water Lamont Applied tops. Aqua. 10 oz. All about 228 mm. 1890s
Bratby & Hinchcliffe is the roughest with some flakes around the lip and scuffs and scratches to the surface throughout. There are a couple of little body flakes near one of the seam lines. Melbourne glassworks one is a bit dull with minor marks. Some scuffs and scratches throughout. Tiny flake to lower lip. A few base flakes. Cannington Shaw is a lovely bottle with a few minor marks. Has some inner dirt which should wash out. A bit of grime around the embossing, again, should wash off, leaving a near mint bottle. Nice group, the English made ones are harder to get and all are usually in pretty scrappy condition. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
