Near Mint. The lip is near perfect, couple of possible fine glaze flakes near the lettering. The wire handle is in great nick, with just the usual surface rust. Couple of tiny glaze flakes to body, some minor scratches and other marks. Around the base are a few little flakes, the largest is 15 x 6 mm, all of these are likely pulls from when it was removed from the potters wheel. This is a superb piece which is extremely rare!
