Pair of Sauces: Hoadley's and A. Hoadley & Co. Rising sun trade marks. Melbourne & Sydney. Bases: M & 2. Household Sauce Spun finished tops. Clear / Pale Amethyst. 13 oz. Both about 245 mm. 1900s-1910s
The Hoadley's is nice enough but is fairly flaky and nibbled around the lip. A few scratches, scuffs and a couple of little impact marks around the place. Some light haze inside. Hoadley & Co has a 6 x 4 mm fracture on the edge of the embossing ring at the right side. Down near the back base edge there are five or six little bruises or impacts. A few other light marks around the bottle. Some scratches, this may have been polished. Nice looking pair of sauces. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
