Vieux / Cognac / Cognac on applied seal. No base mark. Spirits Cognac Applied top. Green. 26 oz. 279 mm. 1850s
Very Good. Has a dint in the lip, this is from making. Annealing stress marks all around inner lip. Internal haze. Couple of impact marks to lower front and left side. Some scattered scratches. Seal is crudely struck with part of Vieux missing and Cognac clearly struck twice. A unique and lovely bottle from the goldfields era. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $100 - 150
