Excellent. Although the embossing is very indistinct which seems to be quite common with these Canadian branded jars. Some typical flakes and marks around the lip. There is an inclusion to the rear with a few very short associated fractures, a second little inclusion has a tiny mark to it as well. Surprisingly thick base and darker colour. Some light wear and marks around the surface. Nice bail and lid. The wire parts are quite rusty. Interestingly this is the exact jar that was pictured in Susan & Ron Seilings Fruit Jar book published in 1979. Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $300 - 400
