Large & Small Christmas Tree Salad Oils. Small with a round pontil. Large, no base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Various Various. 1860s
Small: Very Good. Some patchy inner haze and dirt. 10 x 8 mm flaked impact chip to base edge corner. Some nibbles to another corner edge. Scratches, mainly down one side. Remains of round pontil under the base. Generally quite a nice shiny example. Large: Very Good. Couple of tiny lip nicks. Oiled internally. 6 x 4 mm nibbled flake to base edge corner. Stained throughout. Some scratches and small impact marks and nicks to the body. Not much in the way of deeper marks. A solid bottle, these are hard to get in this larger size.
