Eighteenth Century black glass chestnut bottle. Base Mark: Pontil. Black Glass Black Glass Applied string rim. Small bladder shape chestnut flask. Base pontil. 168 mm. Late 1700s
Excellent. Tiny flake to outer, upper lip. Couple of other smaller nicks to lip. Some inner dirt. Scattered scratches, one or two little impact flakes as well. Fair bit of heavy usage wear around the bottom, some of these scratches come up the side slightly. One or two tiny open bubbles. What a superb piece of very early glass! Grade: 8 Estimate: $250 - 300
