Interesting early flint glass Salad Oil or Vinegar. Pontilled base. Goldfields Salad Oil Heavy glass base. Section of 6 descending bulbous levels is actually applied or joined separately to the base. Crudely tool finished top. Inner neck is hand ground to fit a stopper (stopper missing). Clear Flint glass. about 13 oz. 197 mm. 1850s-1880s?
Very Good. A little dull and could use more of a wash. Just a few scuffs and scratches outside. Really nice piece of early glass. Presumably a table bottle to contain some form of condiment? Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $70 - 100
