No embossing. Crude cylinder with superb scarred tube pontil to base. Appears to be American glass. Goldfields Utility Fine cylinder. Crude, applied "ring seal" lip. Blue-aqua. 10 oz. 235 mm. 1830s-1850s
Very Good. Polished. A little dull throughout. Annealing marks to inner lip. Has baby oil inside to disguise dullness but no deep etching. A fleabite or two to the lip. Slight blue tinge to the glass suggests an early American made bottle. Has been turned in the mould to remove seam lines at the time of manufacture. Very crude pontil scar. Great little piece of early glass. Grade: 7.55 Estimate: $30 - 50
