Very large wide mouth chemist jar. Base mark: 3 1/2. Medicine Jar Cobalt wide neck jar. 286 mm. 1890s
Excellent. This is a huge jar, the base mark makes us think that possibly this is 3.5 quarts in size, so very nearly a gallon. Little shallow open bubble to upper lip. Some inner stain and grime. There are some darker swirls of blue glass through the lower region. Some scratches. A very imposing piece, this would look great in any blue glass collection. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $50 - 75
