Large size "Frog" mug. Variously described as Staffordshire, Sunderland or Garrison. Hand painted decoration (Scene of three men drinking & general merriment sometimes known as "Willy has another one"). Pottery Staffordshire Wide, handled mug. Hand painted multi coloured. 120 mm. 1850s-1860s
Very Good+. Great early piece of stoneware. On one side of the lip are three or four shallow nibbles and flakes. Some of the paint is flaking or has otherwise worn off. Some crazing in places. A few other little marks around the piece. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $150 - 200
